The Jake Dent Gallery was initially started in the San Francisco Bay area over 25 years ago.  The gallery was built up into a successful art and design destination location then moved to the Palm Springs California area after about 5 years.   Many styles were incorporated into the business and that took the business to the next level by infusing aboriginal South African style pottery, contemporary flare and sculptural design.  The business operated for fifteen more years and in 2002 Timothy Shanahan became associated with the gallery.  Timothy Shanahan was a quick study and to this day is utilizing the techniques and applications of sculpture and pottery by producing pieces weekly.  Mr. Shanahan purchased the gallery in early 2008 and is carrying on the linage of the Jake Dent Gallery by featuring the art work of renowned, talented artists mostly from the Southern California area.
